The weather has been amazing for February and it feels like spring but of course that could all change in March. I am hoping not though because I am enjoying the higher than usual temperatures and the sunshine and the garden is bursting out all over.
It a bit of sunshine makes you feel good.
The flowers are lovely – loads of crocuses and snowdrops here, but daffs not yet open although, if the worst of the weather keeps away, they’ll not be long. According to my uncle in Maidenhead, 19 degrees in your part of the country today. Fantastic. Even up here, it’s 16.
The miniature daffs are open but the full size ones are just in bud. According to my van’s thermometer it was 16 degrees here too but with the full sun it felt like summer. It is fantastic for this time of year.
Really pretty, such lovely weather. So much colour in the garden at the moment.
Sat out in the garden yesterday, and had our lunch time drink of wine.it was so warm
and really enjoyed the garden, and the sun.We have worked out there all the week, so was nice to just sit and take it all in.
I know what you mean, it is so lovely. I finished at three o’clock this afternoon and sat out in the garden for about an hour reading my book. It was amazing and yet we had a light frost in the morning and once the sun had gone the temperature instantly dropped. I hope to do the same tomorrow. We have to make the most of it. I can’t remember a February like this before.
