I am sure we have enough chicken things in our house but I still find it hard to resist them. I found this set of four coasters in a charity shop for fifty pence and couldn’t resist.

I also like the way the burgundy edge of the coasters matches the curtains.
They’re lovely. We do have lots of chickens things – mugs, cruet sets, a couple of coasters; as you say, we simply can;t resist or, in my case, others can;t resist on my behalf. I also have a nice mug with geese on it – my youngest son has no interest at all in my birds and did not realise the difference!
I too have loads of chicken things but I never mind receiving them. Funny your youngest not realising the difference though.

At the weekend I saw an amazing cockerel carved out of wood for £28 in a local garden centre. I held off but really wanted to buy it. Maybe next time!
I too have to resist the chicken/cockerel works of art in garden centres. My husband steers me past them! They are often quite expensive.
