Our rambling rose

I wasn’t going to photograph our rose this year because I have already photographed it many times before. But then I changed my mind because I wanted to see if it would look better with my new camera.

At the front of the cabin

The rose further along the fence is also just starting to flower

It looks beautiful and it also smells lovely. It seems to be a good year for the roses, as the song goes!

How lovely, and I love roses that smell, as there are many now that do’nt.

What a beautiful rose Carol – can I ask the name of it? xx

    • It’s called “Paul’s himalayan musk”. At our last house a friend that lived opposite us had it over a pergola and we always admired it. When we moved here ten years ago she bought it for us as a housewarming gift. It was only about two feet tall but she assured us it was fast growing. This is ten years on and every year it is the star of our garden.
