Today I went to the woods for some more twigs. I decided that it would be best to have a supply so that as I dig up the leeks I can replace them with twigs. I decided to store them in one of the terracotta pots to keep them tidy.

I will be digging up a couple of leeks to go with our Sunday roast. These will keep us in leeks for a while yet.

Yes, I don’t mind them in a pot. Richard said they remind him of Christmas but I think that’s because I sometimes arranged Christmas twigs and foliage in a vase.
