At the risk of getting boring and repetitive I really do think Butterscotch’s head feathers are nearly back to normal.
Butterscotch
Since she first lost her head feathers six months ago this is the best she has looked. Her head feathers are opening up at last. Hurrah!

I love Butterscotch, she has a charm about her.
She certainly has a lot of personality. Whereas Speckles has lost confidence with the moult Butterscotch seems the opposite with her new feathers. She has been showing the girls she is boss once more (except Barley) and she has been running to me more quickly and has taken to staying out last again at bedtime. It’s as if her confidence has gone right up with the return of her head feathers. She is a funny girl.
