The girls often surprise me with the spots they to choose to sit in. They often squeeze themselves into corners and I think that it must make them feel safe to be enclosed.
Today was a lovely sunny day so I opened the roof panels to give the girls some sun. Emerald, Peaches and Speckles were sitting together in the sun squeezed between the boot scraper, the side of the run and the log.
It doesn’t look like the best place to sit but they do make me smile.
They do look cute, and as usual so relaxed.
It makes laugh how Speckles has her legs stretched out and Emerald was resting her head on the boot scraper. You wouldn’t imagine it was comfortable but they seemed happy.
They do love to soak up a bit of warmth – and from an early age – my chicks have relished the sun over the past few days.
They do love the sun. They always manage to find a spot in the sun to sprawl in.
