Yesterday I was surprised to receive a card through the post. It’s not my birthday or any sort of occasion. This was the card.
It says – forget me not –
Inside it says – With sympathy for the loss of Sparkle – From all the staff at Vets 4 Pets Slough
I was quite surprised and touched, although my husband said he would prefer that they just charged us less! It is rather sweet though.

That’s lovely but agree with Richard although 1st class stamps cost loads now .
It had a second class stamp on it hence the slight delay.
My vet sends condolences cards too. I think it’s very sweet. Makes me cry all over again. But I still think it’s touching.
I remember you getting one and at the time I was sure it didn’t happen here. That’s why I was surprised. I didn’t get one for Treacle, three years ago but maybe it was because I was new to them back then.
I got one when Floppy was put to sleep, but never for any of the others.
How odd. Perhaps we all just get one.
